A FANTASTIC EVENING OF
PERFORMING, LITERARY AND VISUAL ARTS
PRESENTED BY THE ARTS COUNCIL OF HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
FIVE by FIVE 2014 featured works of art made and donated by local, national and international artists as well as an array of fantastic and extraordinary performances throughout the evening by professionals in music, dance, theatre and spoken word. Attendees were also able to visit the museum’s second floor exhibitions including the new Renoir to Chagall: Paris and the Allure of Color.
More than 850 people were in attendance and were treated to 20 live performances in our FIVE by FIVE Lounge all evening as well as our hallmark visual art exhibition where 5″x5″ art was available for purchase.
A total of 676 2D and 3D pieces of art were displayed anonymously in the main atrium of the museum and artwork sales were tremendous — raising $13,000 for the Arts Council’s individual artist grants and workshops. On event night, 503 pieces were sold with the remaining pieces online in an “available art gallery.”
Artwork sales at this event fund individual artist grants and workshops from the Arts Council of Hillsborough County.
It’s small art for a BIG cause!
